Update Regulation of the Director General of Land Transportation KP. 3996 / AJ.502 / DRJD / 2019

At present the Ministry of Transportation has updated the technical guidelines for additional light reflection devices on motor vehicles, trailers, and outboard trains in the DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE DIRECTORS OF RELATIONSHIP NUMBER: KP. 3996 / AJ.502 / DRJD / 2019. This new regulation has been in effect since the beginning of October 2019 and will automatically replace the Director General’s Decree No. SK. 5311 / AJ.410 / DRJD / 2018.
The Ministry of Transportation will implement and impose sanctions on vehicle owners who do not comply with the rules. All new vehicles not equipped with light reflectors will not pass the type test, whereas for vehicles that are already in operation but not installed with additional light reflectors will not pass the test. If the sanction is imposed, the vehicle certainly cannot get an operating permit and cannot be used.
